WannaBe lets you preview hairstyles, hair colours, outfits and beauty effects on your own photo using AI. This policy explains what we collect and why.

On your device: we use Apple's Vision framework to detect whether a face is present and basic landmarks (such as the mouth) to check photo quality. This runs entirely on your device; the results are held in memory only and are not stored or sent anywhere. We do not create face templates, faceprints or biometric identifiers, and we do not identify people.
Your photo is used only to generate the preview you asked for. We do not use face data for identification, advertising profiles, or to train AI models, and we never sell it.
To render previews, and only after you give consent in the app (you can withdraw it any time in Settings), your photo and the style instruction are sent through our server to xAI (Grok), which generates the image and returns it to your device. xAI processes this data as our service provider under its API terms.
Other processors: RevenueCat (subscriptions), Amplitude (product analytics and session replay with photos and text masked), AppsFlyer and TikTok (ad attribution), and Apple (payments, Search Ads attribution).
We do not store your photos on our servers. Our server forwards the request and discards it once the preview is returned. xAI may retain API inputs for a limited period for abuse monitoring under its own policy. Previews you save stay on your device until you delete them or the app.
Analytics and attribution data are kept only as long as needed to run and improve the app, then deleted or aggregated.
With your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, we measure which ads led to an install. If you decline, we use only aggregated, privacy-preserving measurement (SKAdNetwork / AdAttributionKit).
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the processors listed above to operate the app, or when required by law.
WannaBe is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region).
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change when we do.
