This policy describes how Retro Beamer handles information on Apple Vision Pro.
Retro Beamer is designed to work locally on your device. We do not require an account and do not operate a Retro Beamer backend that receives your photos or room scans.
On-device sensor data and chosen photos are used only to provide the projection experience (room reconstruction, placing projectors, applying filters/masks, and rendering beams).
We do not use your photos or room mesh for advertising, analytics profiling, or AI model training.
We do not sell personal information. Retro Beamer does not transmit your photos or room mesh to Active Outcome servers.
Apple may process purchase information when you buy the app through the App Store, under Apple’s own policies.
Local projector and preference data remain on your device until you delete the app or clear that data in-app. Reinstalling the app removes local stored projectors.
You can deny world sensing, hand tracking, or photo library access in System Settings. Denying world sensing prevents environment-mesh projection. Denying photos only blocks Create From Photo; bundled test projections still work.
