Getting started
Open Crystal Cave and choose Start from scratch, or Continue from level to return to a world you have reached.
Allow Hand Tracking and World Sensing when asked.
Look slowly around the room so its walls, floor, ceiling and tables can be found. A small light leads you to the first crystal.
Touch the crystal with your fingertip, or look at it and pinch. Keep playing and more of the room wakes up.
When the glowing heart crystal appears, touch it to let the next part of the world grow.
Press the Digital Crown to leave the cave. Your progress is saved.
Permissions
Hand Tracking — lets you brush and strike the crystals by touching them.
World Sensing — finds the surfaces of your room so crystals can take root on them. Scan data stays on your device.
Common questions
"This room is too small for the cave." Crystal Cave needs a room of at least about 8 m³. Move to a larger room, or step back so more of the room is visible.
Nothing appears. Look slowly around the whole room, including the floor and ceiling, so the headset can map it. Good lighting helps.
Touches don't register. Keep your hands in view and touch the crystal directly, or look at it and pinch.
I can't hear anything. Turn the volume up with the top button. Crystal Cave is a story told in sound.
The crystals are in the wrong place. Hold the Digital Crown to recenter; the cave settles back onto your room.
